Jorge Reyes, DDS
Originally from Texas, Dr. Jorge Reyes grew up surrounded by dentistry — with many uncles and cousins in the profession, he saw the beauty and purpose of the field from an early age. At just 15 years old, he began working as a dental assistant for a retired dentist during mission trips. Those experiences showed him how restoring someone’s oral health can change their confidence, comfort and overall quality of life. That was when he knew dentistry was his calling.
Dr. Reyes moved to sunny California in 2014 and has been practicing dentistry ever since. He graduated with honors from the international program at La Salle Bajío School of Dentistry and is a proud member of the ADA® and CDA. He is committed to providing the latest, most advanced dental treatments and continually refining his skills to better serve his patients.
He truly enjoys getting to know his patients. Building that personal connection helps him understand your needs, earn your trust and deliver the highest standard of care. His ultimate goal is simple — giving you the best experience possible, every time you visit.
Outside the office, he loves traveling, exploring local restaurants and hosting BBQs with friends and family.
Catalina Madrigal, DDS
Dr. Madrigal’s journey began with the example of her father, a devoted Mexican physician who showed her what it means to serve a community with heart. His influence — and her belief in the power of a smile to transform health, confidence and self-esteem — led her to choose dentistry as her life’s work.
Proud of her Mexican roots, Dr. Madrigal centers her life around family, and she brings that same spirit into her practice. She wants every patient who walks into TLC Escondido Dental to feel cared for, welcomed and treated like family.
Detail-oriented and passionate about perfection, she loves the artistry and precision that dentistry demands — and she is dedicated to giving each patient a smile they can be proud of.
Dr. Madrigal has been practicing dentistry since 2014. She graduated first in her class from the international program of La Salle Bajio School of Dentistry in Guanajuato, Mexico, with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She’s been published in the Journal of Clinical and Experimental Dentistry and other dental journals and is an active member of the ADA and the CDA. She enjoys learning and continually growing in her profession, completing over 100 hours of continuing education each year — more than four times what is required for dentists in California.
At the end of the day, you will usually find her spending time with her family, discovering new restaurants, enjoying one of Dr. Reyes’ delicious BBQ meals or unwinding with a good movie or show.
Jonathan Winfield, DDS, FACP
Board-Certified Prosthodontist
“My journey into dentistry began with a passion for science and a calling to serve. A high school mission trip to Uganda opened my eyes to the critical need for healthcare in underserved regions. Later, during college, I volunteered on another trip to Ensenada, Mexico. Watching the dental team deliver immediate, meaningful relief while doing hands-on work inspired me in a way I’ll never forget. Dentistry offered the perfect blend of science, artistry and impact — and I knew it was my path.” – Dr. Winfield
Dr. Winfield is a board-certified surgical prosthodontist specializing in full mouth rehabilitation, digital dentistry and implant-supported restorations. Originally from San Diego, he earned his DDS from the University of the Pacific and completed a three-year Advanced Prosthodontics residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago, becoming board-certified in 2022. He is also certified in IV conscious moderate sedation to ensure patient comfort and safety.
Driven by compassion and service, Dr. Winfield has participated in multiple humanitarian dental missions around the world — including Jamaica, the Philippines, Mexico and Uganda — and continues to mentor students on global outreach trips.
Outside the office, he is an adventurer at heart. He enjoys rock climbing, surfing, snowboarding, traveling and spending time with his close-knit family. He speaks fluent Spanish and embraces his Mexican heritage.
Above all, Dr. Winfield is dedicated to restoring smiles, confidence and quality of life for every patient he treats.
